At Top Shelf Credit Repair, we believe in complete transparency. This Cancellation Policy outlines your rights and our procedures when you choose to cancel credit repair services.

Your 3-Day Right to Cancel (Federal Law)

IMPORTANT — YOUR FEDERAL RIGHT TO CANCEL:

Under the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA), 15 U.S.C. § 1679d, you have the unconditional right to cancel any contract with a credit repair organization within 3 BUSINESS DAYS of signing — for any reason or no reason at all.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within 3 business days.

You will receive a full refund of any fees paid, with no questions asked.

To cancel within your 3-day window, send written notice to us via:

  • Email: through the contact form on topshelfcreditrepair.com (clearly state “Notice of Cancellation” in the subject line)
  • Mail: Send a written cancellation letter to our business address on file

 

Your 3-day cancellation period begins on the date you signed your service agreement or made your first payment, whichever is earlier. Weekends and federal holidays do not count as business days.

Cancellation After the 3-Day Window

After the initial 3-day cancellation period, you may still cancel your services at any time. The following terms apply:

Monthly Credit Repair Services:

  • You may cancel at any time by notifying us at least 5 business days before your next billing date
  • Cancellations received less than 5 business days before billing may result in one additional billing cycle charge
  • You will continue to receive services through the end of the current paid billing period
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period already charged

Tradeline Services:

  • Once a tradeline has been posted to your credit report, the service is considered fully rendered and cannot be cancelled for a refund
  • If you cancel before a tradeline has been posted, please refer to our Refund Policy for applicable terms

How to Cancel

To cancel your services with Top Shelf Credit Repair:

  • Step 1: Contact us through our website at topshelfcreditrepair.com via the Contact page or chat
  • Step 2: State your full name, the email address on your account, and your cancellation request
  • Step 3: Our team will confirm receipt of your cancellation request within 1-2 business days
  • Step 4: You will receive a written confirmation of your cancellation and your final billing date

 

We recommend keeping a copy of your cancellation request for your records.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • All active dispute submissions on your behalf will be completed if already in progress at the time of cancellation
  • We will not submit new disputes after your cancellation date
  • Your client portal access will remain active through the end of your final paid period
  • All documents and correspondence in your file will be retained for a minimum of 3 years in accordance with applicable recordkeeping requirements
  • Upon request, we will provide you with copies of any dispute letters submitted on your behalf

Cancellation by Top Shelf Credit Repair

Top Shelf Credit Repair reserves the right to cancel or suspend services in the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment or repeated failed payment attempts
  • Discovery that a client has provided false, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Client requests that violate federal or state laws (e.g., creating a new credit identity)
  • Abusive, harassing, or threatening conduct toward our staff
  •  

In the event we cancel services, we will provide written notice and refund any prepaid amounts for services not yet rendered.

Exceptions & Special Circumstances

Top Shelf Credit Repair reserves the right to make refund determinations on a case-by-case basis in situations not explicitly covered by this policy. We are committed to fairness and will always act in good faith when evaluating refund requests.
